In the Toilet
So ... "Joe the Plumber" is running for congress. He's not a licensed plumber, and his name isn't really Joe--other than that, he's a very confused person whose 15 minutes of fame have extended far, far too long.

John Sheirer (pronounced Shy-er) has what he calls "the best job in the world" as a faculty member at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, Connecticut. He is the award-winning author of several books, including the memoirs Loop Year: 365 Days on the Trail and Growing Up Mostly Normal in the Middle of Nowhere. He lives very happily with his wonderful wife Betsy in the "liberal oasis" of Northampton, Massachusetts.
