Rick Perry Controversy Turned on its N*****head

So ... Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry had a minor flap because his family owned a hunting camp with a racist name for African-Americans. But conservatives have poo-pooed the whole thing with their usual evasions--it's ancient history, just the old south, calling attention to it is playing the race card, etc. 

But can you imagine what Fox News and the rest of the right-wing media would have done if they had discovered during the 2008 election that Barack Obama's family had even once visited a camp called, "Honkyhead"? They would have been in 24/7 outrage mode until their batteries ran down and their heart-facsimiles stopped ticking.
