So ... "Joe the Plumber" is running for congress. He's not a licensed plumber, and his name isn't really Joe--other than that, he's a very confused person whose 15 minutes of fame have extended far, far too long.

Glenn Beck Cries Wolf ... Again

So ... Glenn Beck says the Occupy Wall Street protesters are about to start murdering people--yes, murdering people.

I have two questions:

(1) Might he be overreacting just a tad to people who are just making a point about the abuses of corporations and banks that lead to the economic crisis?

(2) Why does Glenn Beck still get paid to broadcast his paranoid delusions?

Rick Perry Controversy Turned on its N*****head

So ... Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry had a minor flap because his family owned a hunting camp with a racist name for African-Americans. But conservatives have poo-pooed the whole thing with their usual evasions--it's ancient history, just the old south, calling attention to it is playing the race card, etc.

But can you imagine what Fox News and the rest of the right-wing media would have done if they had discovered during the 2008 election that Barack Obama's family had even once visited a camp called, "Honkyhead"? They would have been in 24/7 outrage mode until their batteries ran down and their heart-facsimiles stopped ticking.

So ... With great fanfare, the media informed us that neither Chris Cristie nor Sarah Palin are running for president. This is very meaningful and interesting and ... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ...

Oh, I'm sorry--I drifted off to sleep for a few seconds because I don't care about the fact that two Republicans who would make terrible presidents are not running for president along with the other Republicans who would also make terrible presidents.
